Trump via Byron

So Trump is acting all kinds of weird over the Russia investigation. There's an argument that suggests that he's either acting out of guilt, or that he's not. If he's not then he's weirdly obsessed by it, to the point of illness.
There's a quote about Byron, paraphrased for Trump that seems applicable- mad, bad, and just dangerous to know.

he's so stupid and dominated by his ego he probably didn't think it was bad.

A form of madness, perhaps, but also an indication that he's dangerous to know.

I wouldn't go so far as to say he's stupid, but definitely an egocentric, if not narcissist.

One of the most telling things to come out of the various white house leaks was that Trump actually screams at the TV whenever the Russia probe gets mentioned.
It makes me think that you're right about the narcissism, back to the classical example of Narcissus. A guy who fell in love with his own reflection. I think he's so self absorbed, that the TV is his mirror, and seeing it portray him as anything other than the fairest of them all (to mix my metaphors) is deeply painful for him.
I think that's why he's been on this weird rant against "the media" for so long. It's not simply about politics and bias for him, it's about what he sees reflected. His ugly side.

Trump and his supporters seem barely able to construct a coherent sentence, let alone a wall or decent legislation.
Honestly, with Trump, his actions over the Russia investigations seem to be only explicable if he's either guilty, or crazy. If he's guilty, it's easy to see why he's so desperate to cover it up, block the investigations, and blame other people. If he's innocent, what he's doing is insane.

Let's face it, Byron would eat Trump for breakfast.
Facts:
Byron: Famous Poet
Trump: Famous Tweeter
Byron: Club foot, fought and died in the Greek war of Independence
Trump: Heel spurs, dodged draft for Vietnam, said he had no respect for POWs
Byron: Had sex with everyone
Trump: Groped a lot of women
Byron: Mad, bad, and dangerous to know
Trump: Two of the above, and not in a good way

Trump's one-word opus magnus 'covfefe' places him among the greatest of the Surrealists and Dadaists.
But watch how the hypocritical libtard critics will refuse Le Trump his rightful laurels. The same that once graced the brows of Sartre and Duchamp.

Maybe P.B Shelley is a better fit for you:
I met a traveller from an antique land,
Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal, these words appear:
My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;
Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
Friend of Byron, and it works for Trump too.

Your in depth thoughts on how to deflect criticism from President Trump to others is brilliant!
What College did you attend? Do they have a statue of you displayed in their Hall of Fame?

Do American colleges have Halls of Fame? With statues?

History will show that Obama was one of the greatest presidents ever. Trump will be impeached before full term, which will make him a colic preemy. Oh wait, he already whines and cries like an infant.

llama, once, when you were you young, you were as beautiful and pure as Trump... but the drugs and the whoring, not to mention the incessant trolling have taken their toll...
If you can, try to gather what little is left inside you that can still be called human and begin to walk or even just crawl toward the light. If you can somehow make the journey back to the realm of Goodness, we shall be here waiting and we shall greet thee like a brother.
