Should the West be worried about the CIA's cyber hacks? How did the spy agency manage to get into our cellphones? On Tech 24 this week, we tell you everything you need to know about "Vault 7", the code name for the 9,000 secret documents WikiLeaks has just made public.

Wikileaks is rapidly haemorrhaging credibility that it's not a front for laundering Russian intelligence operations.

Privacy is dead, in the West as much as in the East.

Should we worry about it? Probably not. Worrying about things you can't change is just a way to get an ulcer.

Couple of things to always remember:
  1. Shit rises to the top. Government leaders will always be primarily evil men.
  2. You can't put the genie back in the bottle. We can't un-invent electronic surveillance, any more than we can un-invent the atom bomb. Once a weapon is known to exist, the the evil men at the top will stop at nothing until they have that weapon.

Oh please- the Russian government is run by a spy, and anyone in Russia who seriously opposes him ends up dead. If you really think that's a good thing for Russia, I pity you.
