beat the irish but two weeks ago. a good showing at twickers and we're gravy.

not that i expect england to lose there - they are the best team this year by a distance and we are missing too many key players.

it could happen though, and there's not many times in the last couple of decades when that has been stated with any degree of realism.

Who is she? Looks like alanis morissette to me.

Other than this... I m tired of seing france suck so bad in the VI nations... it used to be "so who will win this year, france or england?". Now it's England Ireland or Wales all the time. Rugby isn't funny when you don't win. I can cope with losing in football, but for rugby,if you don t win it stops being interesting for me. I m not a real hard core fan definitely.

Watching your team flop sucks in any sport. That's why I never watch England play football any more.

France has lost their way Viva Le BLU!!!!!
One of the hallmarks of french rugby has been their artful use of foul play around the break down. Subtle testicle grabs and eye gouging out of the sight of cameras and the ref. Sadly South Africa is now a better exponent of nonpunishable foul play. Bring back the biff, bring back the mongrel, bring back the angry and sly tactics. Chabel is missed.

First, it would be "vive les bleus". English speakers who don't speak french always say "viva la france" which is ridiculous as viva is spanish, and by no means a french word.
Secondly, his name was Chabal. But this guy was just a marketing billboard, he's never been a great player. He kind of looked like a bad ass caveman, and he used to do impressive tacles. But france wasn't that good during his years, and he was more of a substitute anyways.
French rugby is way too oriented towards its professional league which has most of the world rugby superstars, and the french clubs are the most successfull in european championships.

i think I played like 2 month max during my first year in college, I played 7 but I didn't go that often training and I dropped as soon as winter arrived. I didn't have a driving licence yet, and after class rolling in the cold mud till 10:30 pm, finding transports, shower and do your asignments was too much hassle for me. I'd rather have parties in the dorms and get drunk and high.

I played hooker, broad shoulders and no neck, small ears, high pain tolerance. This was in the days before they changed the rucking rules to the halves have to be able to see the ball to ruck with their studs. Used to wake up everyday after a match with my bedding stuck to my back and arse where all the rucking scabs and scratches had broken over night. Last played a full season in 2005, 5grade for a sydney club, very social rugby, retirement home rugby. I was the youngest on our team at 28. Oldest was 51. Hated it when I had to play up a few grades and play 3rds or even most annoyingly 2nds. Club didn't have much depth at hooker and tightend. People are sick. I'm middle aged, and looking back fondly at getting bashed, eating grass, swimming in mud, getting stomped on.
