The gender is not really the point of my philosophical question. Pluto identifying himself as a human would make this case really difficult.
Goofy is clearly a human-dog hybrid.
Donald, the duck-human hybrid has a relationship with Daisy the duck-human hybrid, regardless of their genders.
Same thing between Mickey and Minie the mouse-human hybrids.

If you consider these 4 along with goofy+pluto as the 6 major characters of the mickey universe, well, goofy and pluto are left in an uncomfortable love spot. Would it be socially accepted to see a relationship between these two dog hybrids? The answer is no.
There is a horse-human havin a relationship with a cow-human in the old cartoons though. That is fine, because who cares if a horse fucks a cow.

I think I have seen clips of the impersonations. He is a widower now and has been rumored to have been connected to others including Clarabelle but not Pluto. Though they may have had a fling or something.
