This commercial is sexist. Guys shouldn't have to buy condoms. Girls are the ones who can get pregnant they should buy them it shouldn't be the guys responsibility, because of this I am going to go burn my condoms, but you're a crazy liberal if you tried to burn your bras in the 60s. Oh also this commercial is sexist random reference to knocked up. I'm so enraged

gotta love fox news

I really can't think of any other word to describe it.

It's funny, can't you people accept and understand humor?

It's a take off on the old phrase "All men are pigs" by saying that you can stand out from the crowd by being a decent person and using a condom.

It has nothing to do with the purchase, simply the use.

I'm guessing rev kyle put this on here because of networks refusing to screen the ad, rather than for the ad itself.

Being foreign an all, I'm not entirely clear why Fox didn't want to show the ad, so I thought I'd have a look at a transcript of The O'Reilly Factor to clear it up, and what do you know?, as soon as I started reading the script, my IQ slowly dropped 50 points.

They didn't show it in regular rotation because that way they can fake moral indignation at it and show it at the same time.

That way, they keep their reputation and the money for showing it. It's called "having your cake and eating it too."

You'd only want to do that if you were a pig.

a strange advert. the women of this time should realise that most young men who are out on the piss, are just after 1 thing and that is a shag. when you were 18-21 thats all you were after. if you met the right person, good luck to you. having said that if your with some bird and you pulled a packet of condoms out, she would probably give you a slap(unless she was a slapper, then she drag you of to the toilets or the nearest entry(alleyway for you americans)). safe sex is a good thing but it is only the girls that know if they are going to give it to you or not.

I think this ad is indeed stupid, don't get me wrong there, but complaining that it's sexist? Come on, as if 95% of all ads are not sexist towards women. Companies are practically selling their ads by putting naked chicks all over the place. So what if this ad is sexist, western culture is sexist so it's not a valid argument. And besides, as much as this ad is sexist towards man, it's just as bad to women. Can't a woman just say "no" when her one-night-stand can't bring protection? Or heck, just buy one for that matter? This ad surely depicts women as helpless creatures who don't have a say on how they choose their dates.
Did I say that this ad was stupid already?

a) I think kyle was using a bit of the ole tounge-in-cheek humor variety there.

b) this commercial hasn't been banned on all tv stations, see it on comedy central during normal business hours.

c) awesome.
