Negotiated the peace treaty with Jordan, which cracked the solidarity of Arab hatred and made possible other peace treaties in the region. Helped negotiate the Oslo Accords in a (misguided, I think, but well-intentioned) attempt to give the Palestinians their own government, for which he was honoured with the 1994 Nobel Peace Prize. Far from the extremist you want to portray, he was always a moderate, a mediator, a negotiator.

Peres was a military man, he only started with the "peace" pretence late in his life. He was in charge of weapons procurement before there was even an IDF(a misnomer of epic proportions. Defence force, oppression force more like it).

The very use of the word Canaan is offensive to Jews, who use canaanites as an insult. Canaan was conquered and ethnically cleansed thousands of years ago. Using the word Canaan is the kind of dopey thing that "Jews for Jesus" would do. A particularly wacky group that my step mother is a part of. An interesting moral dilemma. Jewish is both a racial and a religious identity. So when you no longer worship as a jew, but are of jewish descent. How jewish are you? So Canaan was the name for Palestine when the jews stole the land the first time.
My jewish cousins(I have some jewish heritage, but don't chose to identify myself on racial lines, I'm a kiwi that is it) hate the state of Israel. They are not the only Jews that feel that way.

The dude has approval for his username paying tribute to the SS. His OP openly states that it's out of respect for Nazi war criminals, notably one who escaped justice for his involvement in the Holocaust.

Once he got the OK from CC high command that that level of antisemitism was acceptable, after that it's just boundary pushing and appeasement.
