Yes it's true the greedy fat cats want more money since the government made it rain too hard on their cottages.

Residents were quoted as saying: "I only come here once a year for a few days while I'm golfing nearby, so it really sucks when it's wet";
"my pile of cocaine just got soaked"
"In Hollywood it doesn't rain, why do I even come here"

For those who don't know, these are the most expensive and exclusive cottages in Canada (at least some of them).

Fucking rich bastards! One of them is complaining about their damaged $700,000 boat house????

They should have FLOOD INSURANCE! Having waterfront property is always a risk. I've been paying flood insurance for years, but can't afford a $700,000 boat house, very unfair, if you ask me.

The typical boathouse on these lakes is a 2-storey affair, with enough docking for 32 seadoos inside, and more docking outside. Many have a second-story 2-bedroom apartment with one room done up for bunk beds. It's not unusual to see a hot tub on the dock (not as big as the main cottage hot tub).

In every business you run, you have a chance to lose your shirt except in banking or insurance. Why are the industries that are closest to gambling so close to sure money?

and if they win it won't be government who pays, but taxpayers.

Great idea! They can go bankrupt and the CEOs can give themselves a large bonus as they shut their doors down.

Yup gov't = Tax payers

It's trickle up economics! Soon they will be called the ".01%'rs" . Increase the taxes and lower wages... if we can get enough taxes out of these poor people maybe the gov't can afford to pay out for the rich guys house boat.
