Second, the very assumption that this is some kind of an intentional policy. Yes, I know there's governments that try to pretend it is, but it isn't. Multiculturalism is just a fact of life. In a mobile society people of different cultures will end up having to live side-by-side more often than in a society where everybody is born and dies in the same village.

So the J-man himself, Justin Trudeau visited Auschwitz today as he is in Poland for the NATO meeting. He wore a Jewish hat (note: he's not Jewish). The other day I saw a committee meeting where one MP announced that he had broken the Ramadan fast with 2 of the 5 mosques in his riding (note: he's not Muslim). At least in Canada, multiculturalism has become a political gag where politicians take obscure religious holidays more seriously than governance or other silly things that I might expect the legislators of the land to consider.

Depending which cultures are included. Most cultures over time developed an ability to accept other cultures(pioneers are those from the far east), but some cultures and especially one religion openly refuses to accept the modern world with multiculturalism. In the end that religion will face the wrath of its inability to live in the modern world and it will have two options, to change or to cease to exist.
