I don't think I even need to bother linking to a lengthier online article or essay about this:
- Greeks elect hardline leftist government, economy has tanked for about 8 or 9 years straight now, just like everyone said it would
- Swiss voters demand government restricts EU immigration, EU immediately punishes Switzerland just like everyone said it would
- Brits vote to leave EU, pound plunges, shares plunge, money starts to vacate the country. Lengthy and protracted period of uncertainty for whole of Europe beckons, just like everyone said it would
- Americans threaten to elect Trump, whose election would be like Double Brexit, just as everyone says it will
Meanwhile, China continues to grow at around 7% per year, is stable, and will soon have ownership of the house you live in and the roads you drive on.
All hail the rational and well-informed hand of President Xi and his colleagues. All hail the steady progress of China under the calm and decisive leadership of the Party. All hail China!! ^0^

In other words, given the state most of the Western world has got itself into you cannot possibly refute what I am saying.

Andy agrees that tickle elf is babbling nonsensically. He can't even string a sentence together, but in Canada he gets to vote on matters of national importance. Just imagine!

It's okay. Usually any attempt to debate or critique the prevailing doctrine of Western propaganda on here is automatically met with furious responses from OT's CIA trollbots - I wasn't expecting this thread to be any exception.

Also, I forget to add to OP:
- USSR imposes Western-style political institutions, economy implodes and oligarchs seize control of everything

Always fun to watch American commentators attempt to brand the Chinese economy as a calamity waiting to happen because it is 'only' growing at about 7%, the rate at which the government has explicitly stated it wants to slow growth down to.
Next up from tzor: Chinese stock market's immunity to Brexit shows just how lame China is!! All the best economies are plugged into London - China's growth shows just how lame it is! And Japan!!

Congratulations for winning a meaningless contest. GDP growth is a means to an end, not the end in itself. The USSR was also growing its GDP at a similar rate in the 1950s and look where that got them.

A means to an end which China's government is able to deliver and others aren't. An end which the world's richest countries should be able to deliver, but can't.
China wins, again ^0^

To top it off they only elected Syriza three years ago. The gov't was so bad its policies actually broke the space-time continuum.
Guess that's what happens when you appoint a club DJ from Corfu as Minister for Quantum Stability. Lesson learned.

Anyways, the UK wasn't a total abortion of a country when I moved back last year. I'll give it some time but I'd happily leave again if things go south.

So basically there's no work in China?. You had to outsource yourself to a country that had your line of work? If China was so prosperous why you not find job in Mother Country? Contradiction Chinaman?

In 30 years, you need to add a line:
-China becomes a prosperous nation, world experiences runaway global warming, just like everyone said it would

By my count, that brings us up to 6 posters throwing out ad hominem and red herrings in their desperate attempts to avoid talking about the issues.
mrs: 'elective democracy is flawed and its consequences have undermined national development and stability in many nations'
CIA trollbots: 'You are wrong because in China everyone uses chopsticks!'
mrs - 6, trollbots - 0
