Congratulations for winning a meaningless contest. GDP growth is a means to an end, not the end in itself. The USSR was also growing its GDP at a similar rate in the 1950s and look where that got them.

A means to an end which China's government is able to deliver and others aren't. An end which the world's richest countries should be able to deliver, but can't.
