Prayer Week #1

Every week I'm going to be posting a prayer for you. These are to keep Jesus Christ fresh on your mind, but I also like to share them with people who may not know Christ. Please keep any nasty comments to yourself :)

1. Isaiah 55:6
Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

I almost always see it as bad humans beings using religion rather than bad religion using human beings. I get there are varying degrees of both, but it's pretty lopsided imo

If God is omnipresent, and in all things, does that mean he's always equally near and I need to be calling on Him constantly?

That prayer seems like a terrible demand if God is always near. Is sleep allowed?
