Happy Memorial Day

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Memorial Day.

Lets all remember those who have lost their lives serving their country.

I guess everybody else here hates the troops and wishes they never would have fought for their freedom. Fucking ingrates.

Saying you support the troops is quite different, if you actually help the troops.

Most countries have days of national recognition for the troops. Here in Canada, Remembrance Day on November 11th is a pretty big deal.

May 30th, with its origins in the American Civil War, is a uniquely American holiday and not marked in any other country.
