that reminds me

When I got my learner's permit I was practice driving with my dad in the parking lot at the abandoned Costco just off Pine Crest Road. The one next to the Popeye's.

Anyway, the parking lot was empty except us. Suddenly there was a blue Pontiac following us. Yep, you guessed it. It was Linda Searcy. She was following us through the abandoned parking lot but being a real dick, flashing her lights, motioning for me to go faster and so forth. When I was practicing parallel parking, Linda Searcy jumped out of her car and came up and said she was trying to make my driving lesson more realistic because I'd need to learn to share the road with her once I got my license. She then asked if I'd come mow her lawn that weekend and offered me $20 if I did, or $25 if I didn't wear a shirt when I did it. I thought that didn't sound appealing as it was December at the time.

Eventually she just drove off. And, you know what? That was the last time I ever saw Linda Searcy that day.

I don't understand what any of these Linda Searcy threads have to do with Palestine.

Good point, I almost forgot. Apparently Linda Searcy's father once did a six month stretch in a federal prison for violating §711a of the U.S. Code. It was a big deal at the time, apparently. Probably explains a lot, frankly.

Pretty basic stuff you simpleton. He was knitting "Give a hoot, don't pollute." Toques and selling them at the flea market.
