You sound confused by the article.
I'm pretty suprised that it starts by saying the woman "welcomed friends and family to celebrate his birth and honor their Jewish heritage." by refusing the little fellow his covenant with their God.
She's referring to just the foreskin here.
"It's not like you're just cutting a piece of paper off a pad -- there's no 'cut here' line. It's not made to be cut off, and I would never, ever do that to my baby."

circumsision is a stupid thing. yeah back in the day when people used to wash once a year circumcision helped with the intimate hygene but now it's just plain stupid.

I've heard that it's simply a matter of hygiene, no matter what your religious beliefs might be. Though personally, I really don't see why it matters. I don't know a single individual who was circumcised as an infant who remembers the experience...

Puppetcision is a more precise and exacting art requiring much more durable tools to achieve the desired result.

Don't think circumcision is something I would ever really want to have done but I have heard that it makes sex more pleasurable for women...

i think before everyone starts slating it, you should wait until some of the jewish men on this site reply with their comments. someone like dariune would be perfect example.

I don't personally go in for having anyone waving a pair of scissors round my knob.

I tried to provide a picture for you on this thread, but the field of vision on my webcam wasn't wide enough.

I'm not jewish I'm an atheist... I had to go to hospital and be circumcised I was 10 due to health issues. I will not divulge further but you can't say things like circumcision is wrong in every situation.. I don't mind admitting it as the only people that would judge me for this are people I would rather not associate myself with.

What do you call an overpriced, poorly done circumcision?
A ripoff.

I'm surprised so many people on here have been circumcised (unless a lot of people are taking the piss). I thought it was a dying out tradition that only really still existed for Jews.
