Regular season game in February, and the Wings have been struggling recently. Not sweating it.
Bollocks.

So, I've figured out my Western Conference picks based on Regular Season Championship Belt stats. Right now the Belt's in the East, so I'm going to give it a few more games before I do a season recap in the East.
Seed No./Team Name/Reason 1/Chicago Blackhawks/2nd Longest Belt Streak; still have a chance to end the year on a high note 2/Los Angeles Kings/T-3rd Longest Belt Streak, did it in less chances than the Preds 3/Nashville Predators/T-3rd Longest Belt Streak, longest in terms of days (10 days) but tied for # of games 4/Dallas Stars/An unspectacular year, but better than the flops below 5/Minnesota Wild/Yawn 6/San Jose Sharks/1 chance; failed 7/Anaheim Ducks/3 chances; failed 8/St. Louis Blues/5 chances; failed
Really deserves to be in the playoffs this year: Colorado Avalanche.
In other news: Toronto Maple Leafs have the best post-break record among Canadian Teams, none of whom are going to the playoffs...

Penguins are on absolute fire bow. Haven't been this excited in a while.
Last time we fired a coach midseason? We won it all...

You will probably sing a different tune after the Penguins pass through Brooklyn.
But tonight we have to play the Blue Jackets Much better than you playing the Predators. But you will probably get a win there anyway. I mean what's the difference between crap and bad? The win is the same.

So you are suggesting you are going to loose both games?

what's "loose"?
I was doing some research, and found out that the Penguins this year in the second period are have the highest goal differential of any Penguins team since 05-06 in any period by 12
that's pretty significant
also, thanks to our win and the Rags loss, we hopped to second in the division

You know, when your shoe laces aren't properly tied.
It's not a pretty picture on ice skates.
In any event Islanders won.
Prepare to meet your doom on Saturday.
(But really, who wants to talk about Brooklyn traffic.)

My team isn't going to playoffs (Colorado) but my other team is (sharks). These injuries & suspensions are looking better and better, though the Sharks got hot a bit to early I think they have a small chance.

I was at rehearsal; I didn't see the game. But "extra dirty?" Please, cut me a break. Probably "extra sloppy" but never dirty ... they aren't that good.
Well, we would have kicked your asses if we had Halak, but ... crap, number one is only human, not divine.

We were without Fleury and don't even act like Halak is better than Fleury

No I wouldn't. Fleury's save percent is 92.1 and Halak's is 91.9 ... he's like three tenths of a point way better.
