Avengers Age of Ultron - What the Hulk?

I'm in the middle of watching Age of Ultron for the first time. I'm officially extremely annoyed. Hulk cannot be beaten. By anyone. Not Iron Man even in fancy armor.

Also, Scarlett Johansson might be the perfect woman (physically).

That is all.

HULK DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

And Red Haired Scarlett vs Blond Haired Scarlett

I have to agree with Op...Scarlett Johansson is one of the hottest women on the planet and the HULK can only be killed by a thousand foot drop out of a small private airplane.

I liked the movie, but it's not in my Top 10 and probably not my Top 100.

That says a lot, since I've been a geek and Marvel Fanboy since I could read.

I just don't understand the whole "drop the city" thing.
I think it was a bit much.

I also think the whole Helicarrier showing up, and all the efforts to show the Avengers saving lives was a bit much.
Yeah, a little of that would be good, but they went overboard. I haven't seen it since the Theaters... I'm sure I could
tear it up more if I rewatched.

X-Men Quicksilver > Avengers Quicksilver

I didn't like this movie, couldn't even sit through it. Switched it off half-way. I miss Loki :(

We originally shot that he changed back to Banner, and was looking around and seeing what he'd done, but I thought, late in the game, that it would be more effective if the Hulk himself was able to register it and that it became stronger than whatever spell Tony had knocked out of him. The only rule of science I have in Avengers movies is "if somebody is mind-controlling you, then you get hit really hard, then it'll probably end."

He wasn't "Beaten"... he just had some sense beat back into him. Also, Banner did help Stark make the armor, so if anything could beat the Hulk, Hulkbuster stands the best chance.

Hulk doesn't "have sense knocked into him." He can only be defeated sonically (or through mind control, but I'm not sure about that).

I thought the movie was okay. I'm excited for Civil War, which was the last crossover comic I ever read and I enjoyed, although it doesn't look big enough. Marvel is doing a better job with the television shows than the movies.

I also thought the "rescuing civilians" was heavy-handed although that was in line with the ostensible "lesson learned" from the movie (i.e. the Avengers just don't give a shit about innocent people, so Ultron has to learn them, but then "hey, we do care about innocent people, see how we're saving these (white) foreigners?"). If you want a better version of the Avengers (and Spiderman and X-Men), go read the Ultimate line of comics. I was hoping beyond hope that these are what Marvel would do.

Also, Scarlett does have at least one child.

Yep, I can't wait for Civil War! Probably going to be the best Marvel movie of all time. Also, I have to agree that Marvel television series are doing great. I haven't seen Daredevil, but I have been keeping up with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Sometimes the stories get a bit old hat with all the spy-stuff; but at least it isn't boring. And the acting is fairly good. I only started watching it because a coworker told me Phil Coulson was still alive and played one of the main characters.

Phil was my favorite character in the Avengers movie, even though he didn't have any superpowers. And when Loki stabbed him with his staff...and then Coulson snuck a sneak shot and blasted Loki through the wall...one of my favorite scenes.

Only thing now is that Coulson has a robot hand that just doesn't seem to be matching his character, but I'll still watch the show.

I seem to be in the minority in not finding Johanssen attractive, like at all. Her face really bothers me. She reminds me of a mouse or something.

I thought the movie was pretty meh.

Ah, I forgot about gas. That's another one.

I seem to remember one where the Hulk just windmills his arms and and dissipates all the gas. I think it was a crossover where Batman tries to defeat the Hulk.

The Sentry can beat the Hulk. Well, fight him to a standstill at least.

In the Tv series, Thor hit Hulk so hard that he knocked him from the Moon back to Earth. It did give him amnesia, and left a dent in his face, but he wasgood otherwise.

Superman beat the Hulk in one of the DC/Marvel crossovers, but then Captain America beat Batman, which is clearly unrealistic.

I think Superman could beat the Hulk. If you haven't read them, Marvel did a bunch of comics titled "[Character Name]: The End" including one with the Hulk. Basically he was the only one left on an abandoned earth and was eaten alive every day by a swarm of insects. It was a weird comic. He tried to commit suicide but would always change into the Hulk.

I think I read that one. It was horrific.
