It was brought up how Saxi can be so un-American, while being protected by the Stars and Stripes?
Saxi is not American. He pretends to be American to justify his anti-American views.
Americans know, we ain't perfect and have made mistakes in the past and present. Yet, we know we can safely disagree with our government without being thrown in jail, be killed or to disappear like so many in Russia or Communist China.
Saxi has been showing his true colors since Russia invaded Ukraine and sent their warplanes to Syria to defend Dictator Assad.

So you'd agree that a core American ideal is that we we can criticize our government without risking any punishment, and yet you're calling saxi un-American for criticizing our government?

Bernie Sanders is now lifting lines from the neo-con bible to say that progressives like myself hate America. Interesting.

You are not a progressive. You my friend, harbors right wing and nationalist tendencies, the same as your hero Putin.

This thread didn't go liked you hoped it would. You apparently thought a bunch of people would race in here high-fiving you. Instead one person ambled in and did a face-palm. It's very embarrassing to watch you continue to flop about instead of dying with dignity.

Saxi is not American.
Which you have demonstrated through a perfectly valid use of circular reasoning.

Well, his profile shows that his IP is from America. Then again the Russian internet is full of a bunch of dirty identity stealing hackers, crackers, pirates, and scammers with all sorts of proxies, zombies, and trojans all over the world.
edit: Disregard that, also please to be sending credit card number for chance to win iPod.

He used to identify himself as hailing from East Germany.
Is that still the case???
I know he was also pretending to be a frat boy for some period of time, bro.
My opinion? I'm torn. I can't tell if he is the smartest Troll ever; or a true International Socialist.
I'm leaning towards Troll. Only because of a few odd interactions we had years ago that I don't think a True Believer in the cause of "International Socialism" would have. It's quite possible he's just a really really smart bored guy who likes to elevate the level of "conversation" in this forum by presenting a view dramatically different than that of your "average" American. This would still be a Troll, because he "baits" us here; presenting a view that he doesn't actually hold. Though it's not really in the same spirit as your average Troll (like mrswdk). I don't think the underlying intent it to "get us"... as much as it is to "make us think". As annoying as he can be at times... his presence elevates this forum.
Bernie... even though I likely agree with the your stated opinions/positions here more than I agree with Saxi. If I had decide which of you would be ejected from this forum... I'm sorry, but you are the weaker link. Goodbye.
(BTW, I am probably using the phrase International Socialist incorrectly. I am sure there is a more accurate term. but that's the best I can come up with at this moment.)
