Are those real houses? They look like cartoons drawn onto a picture.

A rather quick search tells me that those are real houses. I have mixed feelings about this kind of architecture.

It looks kinda weird, because it's all the same. It automatically brings up a feeling of: I'm a number, not a person. I want to be unique, but I'm just another insignificant human being.
But these people at least have their own home. There are numerous kinds of apartment buildings around the world where you can hear your neighbours scratching their back. And let's not get started on the amount people around the world who aren't as lucky to possess a decent house.

Somehow, this picture raises a lot of moral questions; the ones I can't really answer.

Heh, not gonna touch most of what you said, but trolling or not, I feel you are misleading our friend here...those ARE cartoon houses. Look at the proportion of the car parked in the driveway on the first picture, to the house it is parked in front of. No single building of that style that is meant to be lived in.

Also notice the distinct lack of any DOORS. :P

It is perfectly plausible to live in a house that is the width of car length, even with two sets of windows across the face....

The doors are down the side at then end of the paths.

Yeah, but no suburb I know of is that big, and that has the look and feel of a( cartoonish) suburb.

Could be a place like the community that worked on the Manhattan Project lived in, I suppose.

There are these places called 'cities' were millions and millions of people live all in one place. I think this suburb is on the edge of one of those.

NO, really? I had no idea what a city was. Gee, thanks for that illuminating explanation, oh illustrious one

Honestly, it still looks like no suburb I have ever seen. Nice of you to ignore everything I said but that one tiny thing. No, really, I mean it :V

Hey, sarcasm may be the lowest, or memes...either way at least they are not half of it. ;)

Or they could simply be working on some top-secret project like I mentioned! Look right into the little thing at the top of this little flashy-thing. I promise it won't hurt. 8-)

Don't you know? Serial murders are a uniquely American thing. :V

Or so some cultures would claim.
