Here's the news from the writer/director (I left before these results were announced...
Preliminary results are in, and “As Seen On TV!” was awarded a Judges Prize and 2nd Place in the Members Award in the Scary Cow screening today. Still to come: a tally of the Audience Awards and a final reckoning of the prize money, but congratulations to fellow winners! And a big shout out to our cast and crew, especially ---but not only--- Owen Tomlins, Scotty Cornfield, Joe Boyle, Ami Saunders, Stan Ng Greg Morris, Diana Jackson, Jonesey, Jared Horne, Alexey Samsonov, Ramsey Anderson, Tony Jonick, Paul Fitzsimons John Parsons Luis Ochoa, and everyone else I can't think of at the moment! Film festivals, here we come!

So all the awards from the Scary Cow are in, and we won 7 altogether,
“As Seen On TV!” was shown on the big screen for the first time last weekend at the Scary Cow Independent Film Festival in San Francisco. In a field of ten “phase one” films (mostly created by first time directors) our movie was awarded a first-place Judges Award (given by a professional writer/producer) and a second-place Member’s Award (judged by our peers in the film co-op.)
Additionally, “As Seen On TV!” was recognized for “Best Art Direction” and for “Outstanding Cinematography", "Outstanding Directing" and "Outstanding Acting.”

You'll notice I modestly metioned "Outstanding Acting" last. That's how modest I am.

Now that you mentioned it twice, that's how cocky you are.
