um the title is Finals MVP. Im pretty sure the lakers and suns arent in the finals

Good point jnd, but Tim Duncan won the Finals MVP award last year when the Dallas Mavs and the Miami Heat were the two teams to play in the Final. I'm pretty sure Finals MVP awards can go to anyone that played in the whole NBA Finals, not just the final series.

No, the Finals MVP is only awarded to a player from the 2 teams in the Finals.

You're thinking of the overall playoff MVP, which can be awarded to anyone.

Im gonna go with Manu Ginobili because he always steps it up in the big games, along with Parker.

It's rather silly to title it Finals MVP, then...Should just be season's MVP. That's the way it works in AFL; the Brownlow Medal goes to the MVP for the regular season, excluding the finals.

There is a season's MVP as well, it went to Kobe Bryant.

well.....i guess im gunna hafta agree with ak.....its gonna be tony parker he can drive to the hoop and if they collapse he can kick out to ginoblior drop down to duncan

duncan has won every finals MVP that the spurs have been involved in so it might not be a terrible bet to assume that if the spurs win he will most likely have the type of series to win again.

aside from him parker might not be a terrible choice though.

I have never liked Lebron James, and i will really never know why. But I think the Spurs will easily trounce the cavs, and the MVP will prob be tony parker or Tim Dunca, depending on their gameplan.

it is definitely gonna be duncan because it usually goes to the winning team which will be the spurs and he is gonna play really well.

i think it'll go to parker. Duncan has been as solid as ever, but Parker has really shown up to play. if he continues to play the way he is it'll go to him
