A strange question, one im not sure will get much attention but im curious ...
Do you enjoy the life you lead?
Is there anything you wish you had done or plan to do different?
Just wondering ...

Strange indeed. Personally, I wouldn't complain about my life. I pity anyone who really does wish they had led a different life...

Well, technically, you cant really regret the "cards you are dealt" since you played no part in that.
To be honest "The cards i was dealt" were rather shitty. Obviously there are many people around the world who would love to have had the opprotunities I have but as far as American standards are concerned, my early days were pretty rough. That being said, I think the adversity helped me to become the open-minded person that I now am. So rather than have the luxury of any real family or inheritance to fall back on I have the irreplacable wisdom that can only be gained through adversity.

I come from a fairly well off and very happy family in a beautiful, wealthy and fantastic country. I'm a uni student and I love my life.
Only thing I wish was any different was my dedication to work/study, which is almost non-existent.

Very well said
Was it a lack of family you are relating to or is there more that makes you say you had it hard?

I'm pretty happy with my life. I feel I made some bad decisions, and I was unlucky in that my parents could not afford to send me to Grammar school, but I'm making the most of what I have got, and so far so good.

Single Mother, constant drugs and alcohol, no real stability, dad has been in jail since I was 10, revolving door boyfriends, growing up a minority (and I'm white), no real connection to any of my extended family, etc. I could go on and on, but I didnt really have a childhood until I packed my things up and went out on my own. My 20's were my "letting go" phase. But I have managed to become a successful individual, by most standards.

I'm happy with my life but to tell the truth I'm getting a little tired of my surroundings. First chance I get I'll probably move out west.

well, to give you a hint at what I'm planning to do, I'd prefer to avoid big cities, find a place with a small community where I don't need to worry about anything other than just getting by day to day and relaxing. It may be a bit much to ask for but I think I can find a place like that somewhere.

to dariune: But the US does. So that's kind of a non-factor.
To Anarkist: That's because your name is anarkist. They like to pick on the minorities like yourself. Also they have a certain quota of tickets that they should meet so if they are running behind they'll make excuses to pull people over here in ATL.

... different parents

I'm not gonna say better parents because as long as they're different and as long as they're not abusive then that would be fine, my parents are one of a kind so I know I won't get the same types
