Paid 3.25 in Utah the other day. Gas prices aren't THAT bad folks. And they aren't going to jump up to 6 or 7 dollars a gallon either.

Gas prices are coming down here... about $3.21 now. Still better than Canada though!

Roughly $1.40 for a litre here in Aus. But I got smart and bought a diesel, so I'm paying $1.20 with 800km's to a tank. :D

Incidentally, this is just another example of how free markets are best suited to combat climate change. As supply drops prices will continue to rise and demand will drop. Much more effective than a socialist system that artificially keeps gas prices low. See, the right are the true environmentalists.

Im waiting for a Magnetic propulsion based VTOL personally.

Only problem in the states is that their public transportation is inferior to that of europe, It will be much harder on us then it was on you.
If we cant afford a car many of us will need a horse and buggy.
(come to think of it...)

I still say this fits Bushs' Agenda.

Its funny you say that because we, the English, say its the Americans who have the decent public transportation system.

Good thing that I'm not American then.

Equates to roughly $5.30 per gallon for petrol and $4.50 for diesel.

Say what now??!?! IMHO London has the greatest public transport system in the world. Not sure about the rest of the country though...

I hate Londons transport system. Seems you cant use money anymore, you have to buy tickets in advance, or use an oyster card. f*ck it, too much hassle to buy a ticket in advance for a 5 minute bus journey...

Ha! Suckers! I walk everywhere in raggedy shoes that have one of the toecaps falling off, while being rained on and harassed for money that I don't own by homeless people who smell faintly of seaweed! Rising petrol prices don't affect me in the slightest because I couldn't afford a car anyway; because I don't have a career! Who's the smart one now eh?
