Man wakes from 19 year coma

Postby wcaclimbing on Sat Jun 02, 2007 9:15 pm

This guy just woke up from a 19 year coma.
He went unconcious in communist Poland, and is now awake with no more communism and he has 11 grandchildren.

That's crazy. He just woke up into an entirely different world.

I miss the Cold War. I will take that over the War on Terror any day.

I'd rather live with Communists who might nuke me than Terrorists who might nuke me.

My dad lived in Hawaii, and while he was there he saw a video of what would happen if the Soviets nuked Pearl Harbor. The only way you would survive is if you were behind a wall. And then you would be deaf.

That would be wierd waking up and still wanting to fight Poland. LOL what if no one told him the war was over and he went and fought.

Speaking of that, I heard of Japanese soldiers who had been left on small islands in the Pacific who had that exact thing happen to them. After the war, they were forgotten, but found decades later, still ready to fight for the Empire on their tiny rocks.

They had to be convinced the war was over.

I heard about this. They only stopped "fighting" last year or the year before. There was 2 of them I think, on one of the Indonesian islands if I remember...

And with a much less-attractive coma patient.

Sorry, I just saw the footage, and I thought I'd say that, for no reason.
