Conquer Club Awards

I just saw the thread for 'Noob of the Year', and thought it would be a nice idea to have a CC award ceremony, with lots of different awards and prizes, for example; most posts in a year,
most points won in a single game,
etc.....
i'm not gonna start it yet, i need some more ideas, and probably a bit of help, so post here if you have any comment on this

yeah sure...but it shouldn't be just CC in general...make it only for the off topic forums
...most points in a year and such (that would be hard to count, tho)

heheh...I would help with the creation and such...sounds fun

most posts per day is a useless award. we all know that hecter is the winner, some other member of the fallen spamalot, or those against spam but are hypocrites (like me)

Some forums I frequent do this kind of thing once a year (around Christmastime). But it's a bit more professional than just a single thread in a forum.
The best example I saw set up a sub-forum for it, with a thread for each category, where people posted nominations (which had to be seconded and thirded) for a month. Then the whole sub-forum was purged and a thread for each category was set up (each one with a time-limited poll) where people could hust for votes, and generally reminisce about awesome things people had done...
If you asked me, that'd be the best way to do this. I think it'd be a really nice thing to do for CC-Christmas (if it got set up sometime in October). But it'd need Lack to help out setting it up, and somebody to moderate the whole thing (perhaps with a limited-moderator for the forum, like the multi-hunters in the C+A forum).
So what do you reckon? Should we get professional about this and lobby for it in the Suggestions forum? Or is this just idealistic naive utopianism?

wow, i really didn't expect this, but of course i deserve it! I'd like to thank hecter and....um....hecter was just amazing. And my advice for all you wannabe mr. incrediball's, just be as good as me, but obviously better if you want to win the award, or sleep with the judges, that works too.....
