Peter Jackson, on the other hand, knew what had to be done and what a good movie requires which Goerge Lucas must have forgotten..

Posted: Mon May 21, 2007 6:22 pmI think you are comparing apples and oranges here. LOTR is a fantasy genre movie set in a medieval timeline with the existence of magic. Star Wars is a Science Fiction Genre movie set in a space timeline with the existence of highly developed technology. Now if you compared Star Wars to Star Trek and LOTR to say, Harry Potter or something, this would be more of a discussion.
I voted for Star Wars simply because I saw the SW movies first and Star Wars generally makes better video and computer games.
