Conquer Club

So I want to play mafia, but all the mafia I have played in real life had basically townspeople, mafia members, and angel, and the sheriff. Now I look at this forum and all these roles are just mindboggling. Does anyone care to explain them all to me or direct me to a link where I can find a list?

Unlike the Tournament page, there doesn't seem to be a list of open mafia games, so does anyone have an open game??

I don't have a direct link, but you'll want to check out the wiki section of mafiascum.net.... you can also find information on wikipedia.

As far as open games, there's almost always a game starting up. If you've already played the game, and can demonstrate to the mod that you have a decent grasp of the basic mechanics, you shouldn't have much of a problem. If in one game you get rebuffed for lack of experience, try another.

I just started playin mafia on this site, and so far everyone's been really decent about lack of experience (for the most part, I know what I'm doin though).

spinwizard is the only mod I've played with here, but I'd say he's pretty good.

Read up on it before you play though, and maybe follow a game or 2. If you want a real active game, avoid long night phases.

You shouldn't have any problem finding a game to get in to.

There's about a bazillion alt-roles at the bottom of the page, if that's what you're after.

look on about page 2 and u will find my mafia thread, that provides updates on open games...other than that just wait 4 a game 2 open (every few days) and then read the rules/ other sites online and pm the mod any questions, it is easy and i hope to have u in the mini cup soon
