In English: Because of the loss of WWI, they had to pay too much and it was getting worse and worse. That's why the Nazi Party had a chance of success.
Sorry, that was just driving me nuts!

I though your question was "how could the Nazi party never have gotten started?"
Not "How did the Nazi party get elected?"

Well, it would've been the Soviets who got Hitler (they were in Berlin at the time, even ole Adolf saw the writing on the wall),and if you think they would've put him on trial... . IMO, it was more that the Nazi state had failed, which Hitler believed to be the last chance for the Aryan race to save itself, so death was far better than living in a non-Aryan world. (Not that he had long life expectancy when the Soviets got him, anyways)

Probably the most famous (though probably not the most prolific) Red Army sniper in the Second World War - he had 114 verified kills, mostly officers, in the battle for Stalingrad.
What was his name?

He
was a Red Army sniper, but I don't think he fought at Stalingrad (although I can't easily prove that.)
The one I'm thinking of was actually feted by the Soviets for propaganda
during Stalingrad. According to Wikipedia, Okhlopkov appears not to have gained proper recognition until after the war, possibly because of his ethnicity.
He's more famous than people might realise, but more clues might completely give it away.
EDIT: Oh, and thanks for quoting me in your sig.
