http://coachella.com/ This weekend: April 27-29
--3 days of camping in the desert of southern California.
--5 stages and over 100 bands!
--This years main event: The reunion of
RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE!!
GF and I have our tent, drugs and canned food
Anyone else going?

HA! Are you serious? Just because summerfest calls itself the largest music festival, doesn't make it so. Have you compared the lineups? summerfest has a fraction of the bands, and a mediocre lineup at best-- bands that most people wouldn't watch perform for free.

Summerfest is awesome, plus it's on the lake and not in the frickin desert.

No, but I will be going to the Austin City Limits Festival -- 3 days, 8 stages, 130 bands.
Eh, I got free tickets, figured I might as well use them.

Ha!! I'm out here in Coachella today teaching!! This is the time to have a concert before it gets to be 110 Farenheit. To be honest, I liked San Diego's concerts better around September in the Gaslamp District, but this area is pretty nice for this time of year.

the 2006 lineup was better than coachellas 2006 lineup. perhaps youre right

speaking of awesome festivals thers one in Chicago on friday called Looptopia from 5pm till sunrise......performances,entertainment ect. its in the downtown area
its gonna be awesome
