But in all seriousness, it was a great game, especially for a-rod. But he still cant do it in the clutch against the Red Sox!

It would only be good if the Twins had one and the Mets score had been reversed.

My favorite teams are the Detroit Tigers, and whoever is playing the Yankees. In fact, I'd rather see the yankees lose than the Tigers win.

what do you guys think about the speculation that A-rod is on steroids? i think it is bullshit-he is just a good player. But not good enough because we beat them last night. And with the game on the line, what did he do? he lined out to Second Base.

GO SOX

As much as i detest the New York Yankees with every fiber of my body, I must say these assumptions of A-rod on steroids are preposterous. I've read articles on A-rod, and he is one of the most down to earth, hard working players in baseball. Perhaps Curt Schilling and Scott Hatteburg could beat him in terms of amount of time preparing for games, but thats about it. He works his tail off all day, every single day to get the talent he has, and its well earned. He is perfect tangible evidence that hard work pays off.
Because of this, i must say i have the highest respect of Hideki Okajima for lining him to second in lue of A-rods torrid streak of late. 12 home runs in the first 15 games, good god.

I am a die hard red sox fan, don't get me wrong, but more than that I am a baseball fan, and i appreciate good players like A-rod, even if i swear at him profusely when he beats up my favorite team.

Life is good when the Yanks lose. Any true baseball fan who isn't from New York should automatically jump up and down with joy when the Yankees lose.

"Four baseball climb up on a cliff. There is an Angels fan, a Athletics fan, a Red Sox fan & a Yankees fan. The Angels fan jumps off & shouts, 'For the Angels'. The Athletics fan jumps off & says, 'For the Athletics'; & then the Red Sox fan pushes the Yankees fan of & says, 'For the world!'

It'd be funnier, if I wasn't an A's fan. But the yankee's part was cool. 8)

Met fans are offspring from the New York Giant and Brooklyn Dodger days.

And they lose again (by the way)! Setting up for the sweep with Dice-K

GO SOX.

But I must admit, I've heard much speculation about A-rod and even some Some Sox players on the list. Now I don't agree with these speculations, being an avid sox fan. But whats your opinion?

Big Papi himself?

Dougy?

Tavarez?

Donnelly?

Youk?

Hinske?

Willy Mo?

Yes, I've heard all of these names mentioned, but don't believe any of it. So, whats your opinion?
