I used tinyurl to help fit a banner into my sig, but when i put it into my sig, it only shoed a hyperlink, and not the banner? Help?

well i did that and now its not showing anything

well ya, but the one they gave me was a lot tinier

it says the URL is broken

If that doesn't work, try only creating a tinyURL for the webaddress that has the picture.

Example:
Picture is at http://www.banana.com/banana.jpg

Create tinyURL for http://www.banana.com

Then type in the rest after the URL that you are given.
tinyurl.com/xxii7/banana.jpg.

That may work.

Okay, here is an example of what you're supposed to do:

You now put:

http://conquerclub.com/asdlfkjdsofjadsjfdsjflkjadslfkj

into tinyurl.com and it will replace it with something like:

http://tinyurl.com/adsfds

Copy and paste that to replace:

Code: Select all

http://conquerclub.com/asdlfkjdsofjadsjfdsjflkjadslfkj

and you end up with:

Code: Select all

[url=http://tinyurl.com/adsfds][img]http://photobucket-blahblahblah[/img][/url]

Now your character count for your sig is a lot lower. It doesn't work with pics though. Just so ya know…
