OMG poor creature. His owners should be reported to the local PCA.

You know it's not funny, cats in that condition can die from terrible liver diseases. As a cat owner it makes me sad.

i own two cats...one of them is overweight...do you know how hard it is to get them to lose weight?

Not at all, I keep my cat on a stable weight by playing with it twice a day (she loves to run after little sponge balls)

If the cat on the picture stops eating for couple of days for some reason (tooth ache, or trauma of some sort), his liver is history.

you know, you should try it when one cat is underweight (she weighs 3 pounds) and one cat is over weight (around 20 now)...you don't know the full story behind that cat, you shouldn't judge the owner

Yeah I'm sure the cat was in some sort of accident where it had to eat its way through 5 feet of cake

I don't know, I googled it. It's just a lion.

I wasn't judging you. If a cat is physically handicapped it couldn't exercise, and losing weight by diet could be dangerous for a cat.

Why the fuck do you guys start arguing over the smallest things?

PostPosted: Sun Apr 08, 2007 8:03 pm

I wasn't arguing, I simply stated that a cat weighing that much is under a life threat. *some* people just seem to be a little oversensitive.
