Hang in there DDS, study hard and learn a good trade so you can make a good living. You'll one day be able to have a career and purchase a house in an area that you enjoy. I see good qualities in you. I was wrong to lump you in with all the belligerants that I've taught in the past. You're going to do good things with your life...I know it.

He's just mad because you're not allowed to scream on theme park rides anymore.

My cat is from the same town as DirtyDishSoap. She's pretty maladjusted, too.

Sometimes I fear for the well being of America. With idiots like these in control of the country I'm amazed terrorists havn't shifted thier attention to us. They would probably get away with it.

Well the idiots in D.C. are banning most guns. Which viloates our right to bear arms. But don't worry! They found a way to get around it! We will be safe from the threat of citizens with guns!

That ride is in Sacramento idiots. And the government didn't impose the ban, the ride operators enforce it after too many complaints from the neighbors...

http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/story?secti ... id=5190748

The ban can also be confusing for the ride's operators. Last weekend, park employees stopped the Screamer only to realize it wasn't a rider who ran afoul of the new policy, but a customer on the park's miniature golf course who howled after hitting a hole-in-one.

Most of the complaints have come from residents in a pocket of neatly landscaped homes that are separated from the 30-year-old amusement park by a 12-lane freeway.

Generally, when I hear a story and it sounds ridiculous, I just ignore it - it's usually a misrepresentation of the facts, or even an outright fabrication. It mostly works, believe me. Follow my rule, and you won't end up sounding like your parents LONG before your time.

But it was enough for you to make some pretty forthright opinions on it, and make a thread...Oh, forget it. Watch the whole bulletin next time, and then, disbelieve it! 'Salways the best way.

wait let me get this straight they complaining about screaming, at an amusement park that has been there for 30 years yet there is a 12-lane freeway seperating them... shouldnt there be more complaints about the traffic, wouldnt it drown out most of the screaming? its new levels of idiocy like this that astound me
