Religions I think were started with good intentions but now thier meanings have been manipulated and have lost sense of the true meanings. An example of this is Islam because some of the more radical followers of the religion have twisted the words of it, as Islam is a peaceful religion.

Global warming isnt as bad it as seems, I think the media makes global warming seem worse than it actually is. Most of the reports on it are speculation and there is little hard evidence to support global warming at the moment. Although there is cause for concern, because of fossil fuels running out I think the world should pursue more green methods of generating energy while keeping the worlds economy in tact.

It could it's a possibility we should think about and try to prevent. War yes is good population control and it also brings change but also death and destruction

There better ways to control the population than killing them all, you ruthless dictator.

(e.g. Do as in China, limit babies per couple, rather than go to war to kill off your people.)

Yes and a large cause of war is religion and politics mixing. Religion and politics should never mix it usually brings grief to a whole lot of people

QFT.

I think that no government in the world should allow religion to dictate their policies... Too bad that isn't the case.

Amen to that, and a large cause of war is unstable countries, which get explioted by power hungry dictators, which then results in a civil war or the rest of the world getting cranky with them

You'd be surprised.

Al Gore definitely exaggerated it, but it is still batshit out of control.

Al gore exaggerated to show the public how bad it could become left unchecked.

So, the UN report released today saying that climate change is happening now, is going to get a lot worse, and is going to adversely affect the poor... OK, it's the UN. Al Gore's a pompous ass. Hell yeah, The Day After Tomorrow sucked ass. And sure, there's a bit of a cold spell going around. But trust me, it won't last one fraction of what the consequences could be.
