Inquisition Mafia

So, since there are already too many mafia games running around eating up all the active players, I thought "why not add one more?"
Actually, this isn't really a sign up for a game (although it might become one), it's just a proposal to see if there's enough interest for me to run it. So, without further ado, the proposal :
I'd like to run a somewhat modified mafia game using the Inquisition as a theme. I say modified, since I'm going to slightly tweak some of the roles, and I'm going to tweak the voting guidelines.
The game goes as follows :
"The church has found evidence that there is are heretics in your town, and has sent the Inquisition to root him out. The church has sent an inquisitor into the town, in secret, in order to ferret out information. Furthermore, the church is relying upon the true God-fearing citizens to help with this process by pointing out heretics.
Everyday, each citizen is required to denounce a heretic that is known to them. Failure to denounce a heretic will be seen as treason against the church, and will result in your execution. You may denounce more than one person, if you should know them to be purveyors of heresy. Once a denunciation has been made, it may not be taken back; attempts to retract a denunciation will be considered lying in the eyes of God, and will be dealt with appropriately.
At the end of the day, he who has been denounced by a majority of the populace shall be considered guilty, and judged before God. Should no one achieve a majority, at the end of the day whoever has the most votes will be considered guilty; if two or more citizens have equal votes, they will all be considered guilty and judged."
In order to make the setup I have in mind work, I'll need at least 20 active players. Obviously, deadbeats will be eliminated quickly, but if too many people are inactive the game will die quickly. Hence, this post to see if there's enough interest in the game to bother trying to run it.
