Which group has done the most to destroy civilization?

OK, many bands have added positive contributions to civilization: giving voice to political problems, raising cultural issues to the forefront, putting the meaning of life to song...etc. etc. But which band has done the worst to civilization?

My choice: The Spice Girls.

Take a look before you vote if you need to...

The fate of mankind is in your hands.

Easy choice

For me that's an easy choice: Milli Vanilli

They actually convinced everyone that they were worthy of a grammy for awhile.

How can The Wiggles be included in that group? They are helping kids learn how to express themselves. That's just mean!

I can't really decide between the Spice Girls and Milli Vanilli, but if i could pick more than one, those would be the two i chose.

never heard of milli, tho it sounds real gay

any way I chose the wiggles, screw childhood education, I'm not a child anymore :P

no seriously there should be a law allowing you to sue any "artist" (the wiggles are NOT musical artists, the only art form they've done is turning kids gay) that gets annoying songs stuck in your head...

I don't like creed, but limp bizkit doesn't suck as much as you think...well maybe they suck a little now that they're guitarist is gone...but they aren't that destructive to society...you just hear one of their vulgar songs (Hotdog, anyone?) and automatically think all their songs are the same...

You can always check out the videos to help you make your selection...lol.

I suggest a bottle of aspirin though if you choose to view them!

Britney is not a group. She cannot single-handedly destroy the world with her music. But she's doing a good job of destroying herself. I hope she turns it around.

WOW they were all bad. I am still wondering how the wiggles managed to stay on the road. WoW. I won't let my kids watch them they could learn to be horrible drivers. :)
Ok on a serious note, I choose Sha na na wow that was creepy. Hold on let me go wash my eye balls they have been tained by watching all those clips. Ugh.
Wow I remember when Milli was all the "stuff" in junior high. I am glad I can say I was a kid then. Hmmm wonder what my excuse for listning to horrible artists today in about 20 years? Can I still use the kid excuse even though I am 32 now?

Creed wasn't that bad. A Pearl Jam ripoff, maybe, but not horrible.

Abishai, what kinda horrible artists do you listen to today? (all the bands listed, to the best of my knowledge, are old, generally washed up bands)

I also chose Spice Girls, but really, I could have picked any of them.

Hah! I expected something completely different when I clicked on this thread, 'specially because luns101 started it...No politics whatsoever! This is much better, though.

I chose the Spice Girls for their vomit-inducing feminism-lite, and the fact they became big in my university years. "Girl Power", my arse.

I knew we could agree on something, Stopper. I'm curious how close you came to voting for WHAM though?
