Posted: Thu Mar 15, 2007 8:47 pmWhat do you mean by affiliated? They were still pretty involved, Bishops are automatically given seats in the House of Lords... The Church did have a reasonable influence on the formation of policy (evangelicals campaigning for improved working conditions for women and children etc.)...
