Math 24:5 "For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many."

This one is in Houston (from Puerto Rico) and I have heard there is another making that claim in Asia.

Really weird cultists

Yeah, I read passages like that in the Bible which say that there will be many people who will make false claims. It's quite startling to actually see it in a news story from a major news outlet.

I also seen a guy on Israeli TV the other night who claimed he was Jesus, some people just need to be put away.

This is news? Really?

Think about it this way: In every generation there has been those who claim to be Jesus. Koresh springs to mind, as does Applewhite.

Were these just test-fires and this is the real thing?

I'll reserve my judgment until more evidence is gathered, I suggest you do the same lest you look like a doomsaying wacko.

Yeah, People along centuries have been claiming to be Jesus, and all have been stupid.

But in the Bible it says that close to Jesus' coming, Satan will come to Earth and trick people into believing he is Jesus. It also said that Jesus won't touch Earth's surface, but just float in the air and raise people to him.

So in conclusion, Jesus's coming has been close for the past centuries, but has not actually come. And most probably won't come till another hundreds or thousands of years, if at all.

Maybe you'll have to see for yourself, but I dono, maybe you'll be one of the non-believers and go on Satan's side, and then have the lasers coming towards you.

But, maybe Jesus isn't that technologically advanced.

Doesn't praying mean to a religion? Tut tut.

It's only one can hope.

I wouldn't, not even Superman would make me go into a 'perfect' place laid out with gold.

Are you talking about the Fortress of Solitude? That was made of ice, not gold.

No, I'm talking about what the Bible says about Heaven. It says that Heaven is made of gold.

Now I'm thinking, why gold, and not diamond?

If heaven is made of gold, gold would lose its value and won't be impressive any more. I wish heaven is made of chocolate! Yumm!

Then it would be eaten away. Very good idea. Hah. Unless eating chocolate turned into a sin, then we couldn't, cause it would be in heaven.

Use some logic. There has probably been people doing that for quite some time.

Jesus is credited with speeches where he told people, don't worry about me coming back and don't believe anyone that says "I am him." or "He is here."

I'm too lazy to look up the right one now and doubt you care so I'll hit you with this from the dreamy part of the book.

If there is even a shadow of a doubt then it's just someone faking it to sucker religious people, and it proves nothing.

So when he comes back no one will have to "reserve judgment" it absolutely must be obvious to every person or it's not him.

Unless you meant you would like to wait to see if the guy is worthy of your worship and not weither he's the christ or not. Then by all means carry on investigating him.
