As long as you use the same system of thought for each group, anylyze credible evidence and statistics before forming stereotypes for that group, it is not racist.
A racist action would involve predjudice, no analysis of facts, and a agenda of causing hatred of a certain group.
Long story short...
Stereotypes: can be supported by facts
Racist statements:no factual basis, should be treated as lunacy

Posted: Fri Mar 02, 2007 5:08 pmI actually think some of those were pretty funny. Maybe because I grew up with the Swedish-Danish-Finnish-Norwegian jokes, they usually feature 3 groups and at least one is always screwed.

A sense of humor and tollerance are the highest values I know (and by "tolerance" I don't mean that you should tiptoe around people out of fear that you are gonna hurt their feelings. I mean that everyone has a right to belive or say anything they like and if I don't agree with them that is my problem, not theirs)

I think this joke would make sense and be funnier if you switched "mexicans" and "black guys".
