I'm just going to tell CC people how good Maple Syrup is... Especially with Ice-cream. Quite nice actually.

Anyone else like Maple Syrup...

I'd rather have it with Ice-cream, but aslong as it's with Maple Syrup, I don't mind

I like to put it in a bag of BBQ potato chips, and shake it up. MMMM, that's good stuff there. Try it and post back, and let me know what you thought.

That's because Kyle is a maple syrup fiend. Plus, he's an idiot.

Skittles if you're ever in Quebec you shoulg go "sugaring off". Some farms that make Maple Syrup run a traditional sugar shack where you go to eat everything maple. They even pour fresh syrup on the snow to make sticky taffy.

Here's some pics and a traditional menu from La Cabane à Sucre Millette:

Traditional Menu
Served at all times upon reservation. (all you can eat)

Laurentian Pea soup
Grandma's Omelet
"Scrunchies"
Smoked maple syrup ham
Baked beans in maple syrup
Sausages in maple syrup
Potatoes
Home made pickles
Home made bread
Home made Ketchup (March and April)
Dessert:
Sugar pie
Pancakes, plain or with cream sugar sauce
Eggs in maple syrup
Buckwheat pancakes
Pure maple syrup
Tea, coffee, milk
Maple taffy on the snow

Bon appetit !

I have to admit, lack - picture #3 scared me. The guy on the right looks like he has something sticking out of his head and his eyes are closed. I suspect the fiddle player... looks like his bow is ready for a second attack - not to mention he's a bit TOO happy. ;)

As far as the food - looks a lot better than the last pic you put up of some of the food up there ... La Poutaine!

Definately real maple syrup, not the imitation type. I use it in my barbeque sauce.
