And that's just reggae. Faith has inspired some great classical and gospel music too (although christian rock sucks and it's also kind of oxymoronic).

My friend, I'm afraid I have to confess ignorance of the Greek. I know that ichthys is fish. But yes the pun goes on, The sign of the fish was used when we had to go underground in Rome to have our meetings. So I guess thats a little of the meaning, as well, but I don't feel particularly persecuted and have no interest in persecuting anyone else. So it was mainly a way to use a Christian symbol in tribute to a man who had inspired me.

Singers like Horace Andy, Prince Far I, Yami Bolo, Morgan Heritage, Admiral Tibet and many others. One of my favourite of these albums is Psalms For I by Prince Far I, a collection of dub tracks from producers like Bunny Lee, Lloydie Slim and Lee 'Scratch' Perry with Prince Far I reading various psalms over the top. You can hear some of it here, http://www.pressure.co.uk/pressuresound ... oduct=PS35
