That look is fairly common for gaming sites such as this.

Mafiascum has the same look as well.

is it really.. i was just going through some rpg game sights and found that and thought wow weird... lol

It's phpBB. It's the same software that's used by practically every other site in the world that wants an instant just-add-water forum. If you google for the phrase "Powered by phpBB", you'll see what I mean.

yeah the this layout is pretty much just the default layout for this php forum. I've helped a number of sites adapt theirs and make them more appealing than just hte default.

see heres my opinion, this theme is the default for a reason, it is very easy to read and navigate. i mean both those other sites were nice, but very hard on the eyes. i think CC could use some graphics aka. a real logo. but not much more. i am happy with the navigation bar and green banner. this is just my humble, non script knowing,non-phpBB knowing, opinion

I like it the way it is, but there is always room for improvement. There is definetely something better out there then the default php thing that we have. If someone makes something better, we should use it. If someone makes something not as appealing, we dont use it.
