Ok I'm bored as hell and i fell a rant coming on. Ahem ok so people say "dude your crazy the ps3 is expensive," well i tell those fucktards "Hey it's a damn cheap blue ray player that can surf the net and play games," BTW a blue ray player if you don't already know is higher than high def and runs to about $1,000 and the better module of the ps3 is $600 so $1000-$600=$400 wow that's 400 buck saved for games. Another thing is well people who had a ps1 or a ps2 well the ps3 is backward compatible so you could play FFVII on your new shiny ps3. Now yes the ps3 only had like 10 launch titles but hey buy the system with a game and play all your old games on it. I know both the Wii and the 360 are backwards compatible but hey the ps3 goes back 2 generations instead on 1, and if you say no well i would love to see you try to put a N64 cartridge in your new Wii with out fucking it up.

Now to be fair i will tell all the x-box fans my thoughts on the 360. GODDAMN PEOPLE LOVE TO GLITCH OUT OF SIGHT IN HALO AND KILL THE NEWBS AND SAY THEY PWN YOUR ASS. Yes this is possible it ands happened to me and my bros. Another thing is you could upgrade it to ps3 conditions for a grand total of about $800. Wow people rather spend $200 more on a system and upgrades that doesn't have free demo of games and no free online play with others. Oh yea i forgot to mention that above ps3 has free online play.

Time for Wii. The only games i would play on the Wii are probably Zelda or Mario games. That is why i bought a game cube, a memory card, and a game for cheaper than half the price of the Wii console. Plus with the Wii's Wiimote, (doesn't that just sound gay, Wiimote) it is ALL based on your movements. So your playing a game you have a scratch on your nose, what would you do scratch? Well you might of just blown the shit out of yourself.

This is my closing statement. PS3>>>Wii>>>X-Box360

Wii, I'm a Nintendo fan, it as all of the games that I want.

I'm still waiting for porn games to come out for the Wii

I've really enjoyed my Wii. Wii Sports is a great party game and so far Zelda has been fun. It's very obvious which games were designed with the remote in mind and which ones were not. Only time will tell if developers make the most out of this innovative system.

If you are going to make fun of the wii, Don't make fun of the controller it's awesome. Here's a suggestion as for scratching your nose. Pause it, then scratch.

I just bought a PS3 and i don't regret it at all. It cost me a extra $20 for the memory card adaptor and all my games run perfectly on it and the online play of the ps2 games are even smoother on the ps3. And for ps3, well i bought need for speed carbon and it is awsome and resistance fall to man im buying it next week so it will be good also. The surfing the interent is dope. Works perfect, mind you its slower than highspeed on a computer but its faster than dial up. Takes like 30 sec probably to load a decent page on ps3...free internet is cool...wireless internet is also good. But best thing of all (which all systems have) is wireless controlers!!!!

yeah i want to buy wii in couple of months due to mario games....then i might think of 360 but thats not for a year....

in my opinion wii is great..however the ps3 has what the wii has and more

how is it lies? the only thing the ps3 doesn't have is fully motion sense like the wii has....but how motion sensitive do people want....like if i want to play games, i don't always want to be standing up playing and have to move around, i want to sit down and relax a little bit.

1: Motion sensing
2: Rumble capability
3: Lightpointing (eg, a light gun)
4: The Virtual Console
5: Nintendo games.
6: A decent way to play FPS games

Fanboys like you are laughable, really. I have a 360 and a Wii, and if Sony ever see sense about actually releasing the PS3 in Europe, and reducing the stupid price, I'm pretty sure I'll end up getting one of those as well, but I'll tell you now, the Wii is the most fun console I've ever had. And I've had them all, from the Genesis and SNES onwards.

It's brilliant, its the best toy I've ever bought, and everyone who's played mine wants one too, 55 year old parents included. It's new and fun and exciting, everything a new console should be.

Get over yourself. Sony have got this generation so very wrong it's funny. The PS3's WAY overpriced, overpowered and over-specced.. the blu-ray drive was a huge mistake. I don't actually want one right now, and I haven't not bought a console in years.

very true, sony never release their products till a year later in europe. but i always end up buying them lol. i imported my psp from hong kong it was taking that long

sony only have themselves to blame, if they want to waste time and money then so be it. i like all the consoles to be honest though, soem of my mates have an 360, a couple have wii, and ill get ps3. then we'll play each others consoles, simple

I prefer Playstation games to the other consoles.... except maybe Zelda and Halo.
They make a quality product, I bought my PS2 almost 5 years ago and haven't had a problem since!

The controllers dont have a weird feel and I got used to them very quickly.

The Blu-Ray technology is the top of the market right now, so thats always good.

I'm not a big fan on the motion-sensor wiimote, but I haven't tried it yet so that is just opinion.

The only downside is the price, but since Sony is taking a loss on every unit, it doesnt seem that bad.

What I dislike about Sony is they're not innovative at all. I feel if they capture the market there'll be no real push to make innovative (risky from a profitability point) games/consoles.

Exactly, maybe its because I'm only a Playstation owner, but I had a hard time getting adjusted to the X-box and Gamecube controllers whereas the PS2 just came naturally.

Is it? I dont think the Wiii are the 360 are taking losses, are they?

Saturn-First console to be sold at a loss.
Playstation-Intended to be sold at loss, but production cost reductions meant it was profitable by the time it was launched in America
N64-Not sold at loss
Dreamcast-sold at loss
PS2-sold at loss initially till production prices decreased
Xbox-Sold at loss initially till production prices decreased
Gamecube-Sold at loss initially till production prices decreased
PS3-Sold at big loss
Xbox360-Originally sold at loss, now profitable.
Wii-Not sold at loss

...so fairly common practice.
