Ok, so I busted out my original NES console, because I was at this place that sells old games and systems cheap and had bought two new games for it including: World Cup Soccer, and Tecmo World Wrestling. My problem is I can never blow the games clean enough to get them to play consistently.

What did you guys do back in the day to get it clean.

Mmm, mostly strong breath always did the trick, as did a fist slam every once and a while.

And use one of those little aerosol sprays that you use for dusting.

In my experience I have found that if you blow something enough it will do what you want

Oooohhh.... World Cup was a good one. I remember that game. If you body check the players enough, they don't get back up and its really easy to score goals.

I used to take a Q-Tip and dip it in some rubbing alcohol and gently wipe the inside of the cartridge.

Or like Andy said, just pound on it a little.

I had 2 minutes with just their goalie and 2 players and all of mine and I only got one goal because I purposely messed up all their positions.
