really? so all those common words that are said all day by "someone else" need to be in quotes? I have many words in my PM like that... "the" "a" "your" ... etc.....

You people really don't think these things through very well... You all may have more experience, but your methods are ridiculous and very easy to punch holes in...

Personally, I think moz is a likely mafia, as well as Xen and VGM...

But... No... Let's attack the people who actually post and interact, so that we can have another game that comes to a screaching halt due to inactivity...

I will not post in this thread again until the first night is over...

Peace.

If you are quoting something that someone else has said, then, Yes, dear little Wicked, you would have to QUOTE them... Hence, QUOTATION MARKS!!!

Great logic, eh?

NOW, I will post after this first night is over... I have nothing more to say, and will wait for you people to figure some shit out.

right Ank, I wasn't saying anyone should come out and reveal they're the cop, just to investigate so we can use it down the road. even if someone claims cop, there's no telling if they're sane or not. hell in one game we lynched the cop after a claim. lol

none of this pm stuff clears anyone in my mind, just makes them slightly less suspicious.

I know how and why to quote dumbass, which is how I know revealing one word from a PM is not a quote. We're allowed to paraphrase our PM's, so we can use the data in it, just not a direct word-for-word quote.

What the mods send me through PM is not anyone else's business but my own.

Figuring out people's role by what the mod PM's them IS NOT how the game is played. Wicked, when you ask people questions about their PM's from the moderator, that tells me you are fishing for roles to see exactly who is who. Role fishing is a comon mafia characteristic, and you've been fishing for about half the game now.

FOS wicked

It isn't anyone's business what their PM from auto says. If you want to find out someone's role, then use your own reasoning, not quoting from the PM box.

This week long day phase is goofy. I'm ready for it to be over.

We need to come to a decision here. I think we should lynch the least active player in the game.

Unvote

vote trestain

He's never been this inactive in a mafia game before.

^^^^ mafia who knows he can't answer my question ^^^^

really, not how it's played? in previous games, we've caught or cleared people based on their win conditions. it's been an accepted practice in games here. funny how you didn't have a problem with it until I asked you a question.

(that was in reply to Minkish)

MB you don't find Minkish's balking at answering my question suspicious?

yes I'm suspicious of trestain as well, but let's not fragment votes. I think my evidence against Mink is pretty telling.

I did have a problem with it. I had a very big problem with it, I just never voiced it. You're off on this crusade to ask everyone about their PM's when you have no right to. If people want to role-claim, then that's their choice, not yours.

Because you were never mafia before! You're so busted. We're not breaking the rules either.

Minkish, I never asked one single person to role claim, nor would I unless they were at lynch-1. I don't want anyone to role claim, unless of course you're mafia, then feel free.

As AD pointed out, however, you are bending them. This practice is terrible, its just a stupid way around the rule of not being able to quote your PM.

I have nothing to hide from you, if you want to figure out my role, try using one that doesnt involve stretching the rules.

This is not asking for anything in my Win conditions.

This is straight up asking me for what color my role is. And that would tell you exactly which side I'm on, which I'm not going to do because that in my book is the same thing as roleclaiming

hi

Postby trestain on Wed Mar 14, 2007 2:51 pm

MB and all else it would be wrong to lynch an ordinary crewman just because i havent posted much, all who have played with me know i never post much on the frirst couple of days.
I have said several times we should be looking at the guys who jumped on spin for our first lynch, mafia is surely there and not only does it narrow the odds considerably, it is the only lead we have to go on. It is actually the best lead you are ever likely to get on day 1 of a mafia game.

just incase i forgot to unvote for dummies unvote[b]

i think we should choose between one of the last 3 people who voted spin
