its not silly...i do enjoy the game...i do like other teams...it was a joke...don't be so serious...

And they've GOT to matter because if not, why would Notre Dame pad their schedule with them year in and year out?

well, ND kinda has to. think about it: ND doesn't have a conference, and neither do the Military academies, therefore, it's like their conference schedule

well, ND kinda has to. think about it: ND doesn't have a conference, and neither do the Military academies, therefore, it's like their conference schedule

Yeah and then they bitch because everyone says they're overrated because their W's are against the Service Academies and they're getting blown out by Top 25 teams. Although I'm disappointed that LSU-USC/Michigan probably won't happen, I'm getting pumped up to seeing LSU spank ND in the Sugar.

Looks about right, but it seems that a lot of the people who are voting support Michigan, so I'd say that Michigan's playing Ohio, Florida is playing ND, and USC is playing LSU

watch out, ND finally has an ok team this year. sure they got beat by MICH and USC, but that's why they're like 15th now. LSU is good though, it should be a good game

Florida was already ahead of Michigan in 2 of the 6 computers (Massey and Colley Matrix). They will pass them in at least one more, probably the Anderson poll. That alone would make them tied with Michigan overall in the computers.

Florida is now ahead of UM in the Coaches Poll. 44 of the 62 Coaches have now voted UF over Michigan. That means for UM to have a chance 80 of the 114 Harris voters would have to go Michigan. Now UM was already doing better in the Harris; They had (by my measure) about 94 Harris voters putting them above UF. But that means only 14 voters could change their mind.

USC vs. Michigan will definitely be worht watching, and it'll be interesting to see how ND matches up against LSU. I know Ohio State will win but I'll watchthe nationals, and I'll watch a bit of Boise State losing. Not a bad schedule,a lthough pretty screwed up no thanks to USC.

The early Vegas lines have Ohio State an 8 pt favorite over Florida, LSU 7 over Notre Dame, Louisville 9 over Wake Forest, Oklahoma 7 over Boise St. and Michigan 1 1/2 over USC. It's going to be interesting to see how these lines change as we get closer to the games.
