I did not say this, you either do not read correctly, or you believe that the basic life requirements (i.e. nothing can live in a vacuum, or in a vat of acid) are nonsense, which, quite frankly does not surprise me.
It is not whether 'aliens' can live in these environments, but where the basic building blocks of the Universe itself (which we as a species have now worked out) actually provide the correct environment for life. We have examples of this all around us, if you but took notice. There is no way anything can live in an environment of 15,000,000 degrees Celsius QED there is no way anything anywhere in the Universe can live 'within' any star.
I am not saying that life cannot exist in different environments to ours. But it is now a proven fact that for life to evolve IN ANY FORM certain basic rules have to be adhered to. For life be created and then for that basic life form to evolve does take a very long time, thus the argument that Red Giants do not support advanced life...it never gets the chance to evolve that far. If the energy provided by a star is too little OR too much, then whatever tries to evolve cannot and will not survive. If nourishment is not provided then life cannot and will not survive.
What is of interest is the argument that there are actually an infinite number of Universes, the only problem being this argument cannot be proven or disproved as it would be impossible to see them....ever.
The long term prognosis (over trillions of years) is, I am afraid quite dark for everything that has existed, does exist now and will exist. Mathematical models have been created upon WHAT WE DO KNOW….and ultimately, as the Universe constantly expands, the stars and galaxies will spread thinner and thinner. This will lead to vast areas of space 'desert' will little light even from distant galaxies (as they themselves spread thinner and thinner), imagine if you will looking up at the sky at night and just seeing a couple of dozen dim specks… Ultimately....all the lights will go out...and we will be left with a black void of nothing, no time, no energy, nothing...
It is a salutary thought that ultimately this means everything we do or say or achieve is utterly meaningless, has no reason, and in the end, is of no purpose.
We fight, love and live our lives....for, in the end, nothing.
