Well, when you've got material over 1000 years old, there's almost always something kooky in it.

Meh, it'd be funny if you'd done something interesting rather than the old "NO!!! THAT IS U!!!" gag...

Turns out that neither debate or comedy is your forte... better luck next time, perhaps you could try mime as the logical next step?

It was an amusing twist on it, if I say so myself. More interesting than your pointless re-writing

Anyways, feeling up to a debate on Islam, or you still sore from the homosexuality one?

My comment? That Islam is a religion which, dissociated from its historical influence, is ideologically totalitarian, unable to compatibilize with the spiritual/temporal divide, and naturally, furthermore intrinsically militarily expansionist in its proselytization, which, in opposition to the clear cultural/identitary dichotomy found in Christianity, imposes uni-dimensional cultural and governmental structures? That, in essence :

Islam = Fascism, in its crassest, basest, most despicable form.

If you want to look beyond simple ideology, and compare XPian and Islamic in praxis, I also have an albeit more tenuous theory concerning an essential raprochement evident between many of the less savoury examples of Islam in practice and its theology.

:D

You're shit scared at the fact a barely 15 year old person debating in a language that isn't even his own is ripping you to shreds.
You display classic symptoms of inferiority complex through that comment. Oh, and a really bigoted implication of transphobia.

How would that make the Islam bad? It merely means a literal interpretation is bad, which by all means is the same for christianity. (Though something can be said for islam being more violent in that instance.)

If I express an opinion not backed up with "sources", that makes it invalid in your constrained little mindset, does it?

Uhm.....yes?
I suggest though, if you want "sources", by which you basically mean "academics sharing your view", you ought to look at Mark Steyn or Rob Spenser.

No, by sources we mean quotes from the koran and academics explaining why it's sooooo evil.

You really think that your own analytical and critical faculties are not enough to express an opinion? So, if you comment on what Huckabee said in the latest GOP debate without a source, that isn't valid, then?
Anyhow, I've posted names of academics and elucidated.

No, if youre saying that islam is radically more violent than Xianity and you're in the minority, you have to show evidence, like a few quotes.

Ahhh, the old "I said it on the internet so that makes it true" attack. Good times, and a sound debating strategy...

Now I realise that your ego is far too large to allow you to take on board anything I (or anybody else) say, but for the sake of posterity I'll try:
    1. I'm really not scared of you and the immense intellect you imagine yourself to possess. Debating against you has been, to date, an easy exercise for all of us, and I do not feel somehow intimidated by you as we stand on the cusp of a debate about the merits of Islam. Feel free to dream that posters here see you as some mental colossus if it makes you feel better; but I can assure you that you are only deluding yourself
    2. You haven't actually ripped anybody to anything in any debate here yet. Again, you imagine you have, but viewed objectively it's fairly apparent that you've been repeatedly demolished (the 'Gay Marriage' thread being a pretty good example) in every thread that I can remember. I mean, imagine victory if it helps you sleep at night. But any independent observer would tell you a very different story.
    3. Your command of English is not quite at the Jedi-Master level you imagine it to be. You'd probably be better off putting the thesaurus down for a while and simply sticking to a more intermediate range of vocab until you learn to better control the nuances of the more advanced material which you repeatedly attempt to impress us with

Anyway, you're already stamping on the ad hominem pedal before we've even begun here, so I suspect that debate with you will once again be a futile exercise.

Seriously though, if you quit being so conceited and arrogant, and actually stuck to making substantiated points rather than petty insults and wild jargon fueled speculations (the main clues that indicate you're still a child), then perhaps you'd do a whole lot better here. But let me guess, you're already revving up to hurl some more snide remarks and unverifiable claims again? After all isn't that how all the smart kids prove their mental might?

Just a thought...

I've presented an analysis. Rebut it if you want. I've given you some academics, as well, which was beyond the mile.

Question, how is this description of Islam any different from Xianity?

My comment? That Xianity is a religion which, dissociated from its historical influence (any and all controversial scientific debates made during the church's power), is ideologically totalitarian (promoting slavery, male dominance), unable to compatibilize with the spiritual/temporal divide, and naturally, furthermore intrinsically militarily expansionist in its proselytization (colonization of India, australia, New World), which, in opposition to the clear cultural/identitary dichotomy found in Atheism, imposes uni-dimensional cultural and governmental structures?

With your head that far up in the clouds, I'm sure your closer to God than I. Physically speaking that is.
