What about when he flicks his wanabe emo hair? Or when he is dancing like a loser in the middle of the street?

That too. But the flag was genius.

I want Sandman's powers so bad. It'd be awesome to just turn into sand at will like that.

The dancing was funny but not enough to make me remeber it. The emo hair was just dumb.

The flag was good, I must admit. Lame, but whatever.

Hmm.... Sandman would be okay, but hmm... Green Goblin is good too.

Venom and Sandman were my 2nd and 3rd favourite charachters of all time respectively. My favourite being Dr. Doom

I saw it earlier today and heres what I think of it:

No, it wasn't a bad movie. On a scale of one to ten i'd give it a 7. Great action sequences, but they were repetitive and not as memorable as the ones from spiderman 1 or 2. The romance was subpar at best, Tobey is not known for his cheesy monologues for good reason. And Topher, who i LOVE from that 70s Show, continues to prove he is not a topnotch actor(oceans 11 being the obvious exception) Still, it was well put together with good twists and some pretty nifty shots. The reason I wouldn't give it a higher score is below the spoiler warning.

**Spoiler Warning**

Near the end of the movie, Harry and Spider man team up as a douo to fight off the sandman and venom, and from then on the movie is horrible. Not only do this just-formed tag team have all the typical and crappy lines: "I got your back!" "hey can you help me out over here?" "No, i'm pretty busy over here!!" that annoy the hell out of me, but also everything gets resolved too nicely. Venom, whose conflict should have been drawn out for longer, came and went in a heart beat, and by the end, Spidey and Sandman seemed like the best of friends. Very obnoxious.

And SpiderMan 3 went the way of LOTR: Return of the King in the sense that it had 2 or 3 unnecessery points where the movie could have, should have, ended. But it didn't.

All in all, I would see it, and holleywood will probably make a ton of money off of it. But it won't go down as one of those "truely great" movies, like Spiderman 1 could be considered.

And one last thing, although Tobey Macquire has apparently signed on for more movies, I've seen an interview with Kirsten Dunst(Mary Jane Watson) saying she's calling it quits after #3. I believe this will have a negative impact on the saga - if it continues.

Yeah, in the theater, when Venom went to Sandman to ask him to team up, I said to myself: Spidey is going to get Harry to help him somehow. It will be Harry and Spidey v Sandman and Venom. I called Harry dieing too.

It's so obvious that Harry and Peter would team up. Like f*ck. It's always been that way. When two greater enemies team up, of course the Green Goblin and Spiderman are going to team up.

It was not THAT obvious, since Harry still believes that Spidey killed his dad, until Bernard told him.

If you know the actual history, Goblin and Spiderman have become allies before this movie.

if you look at it Eddie Brock doesn't like the suit, he just uses it's power. if he got it off of him, he wouldn't jump BACK into an explosion for it, and the symbiote wouldn't be destroyed by one of those goblin bomb things

only in the movie, in the comics, he really didn't like it, and eventually had full control, for the most part, venom was only evil when the symbiote was in control

I loved the first two and was very excited to see the third for the black Spiderman and Venom. Big let down. It was just because I had such high expectations, it was still a good movie.

There were way to many storylines going at once. Venom didn't get near enough time. After all the hype about Spidey going evil, most of the time the symbiote is in control he's acting like a complete idiot to be politically correct about it.

That actually reminds me of when Venom was actually a hero in either a separate comic or an internet thing. He was a vigilante and he just kicked the living shit out of some guy who stole a purse and then just left him hanging forty feet above the ground.

I didn't like the movie because it was overdone. the subtle jokes from the first 2 are way overdone

And automatically in the movie you see Pete having an incredibly good life, he has MJ, is payed better, is doing well in school, and is liked better by the public. But the reason we all like Spiderman in the first 2 is because he has such a hard life.

Saw it yesterday, was pretty disappointed.
First, it's long (about 150 minutes) and only a small portion of it is packed with action which is absurd in a 300 million $ production. Second, the actors were gay. Come on, when Pete holds Harry in the end, he tries to break a tear but looks like someone who suffers from involuntary ticks. And WTF was that thing about Sandman being sensitive and all? He's supposed to be a villain, not a group therapy member. And last and most important: Venom, possibly the coolest character in the whole history of comics, is given what, 7-10 minutes of action? BAH!

I peronally prefer carnage to venom, something about being a homocidal maniac, who just happens to be insane on the inside makes me tingle

Venom is by far the best of the symbiotes simply because he is the original. Toxin sucked ass as a symbiote by the way.

Gameplay is more my thing. I played Twilight Princess (I was borrowing my friend's at that point.) for twelve hours straight in one day. It's a crazy game. It's also awesome.
