In all fairness, i was just showing off my "well 'ard cockney" credentials-actually its prob. not a great place to score, since the last tme i was in there the average was 93.
Still, they used to do lock ins, which i found bizarre as its not that inconspicuous!

Who wants to order a girl from Kazakhstan? I'll order one and if you buy her sister the rest of the family comes free. We can send them to Norse with our regards as a going away present.

I actually converted around page 198. Unfortunately, I converted to satanism.

it's not how it used to be :(

I bought some pills off a geezer in the street outside turnmills (don't ask) a while back. A fiver for two, so i gave him the cash out of pure curiosity. He had got some nurofen and scratched smiley faces in them with a needle or something. It still tickles me to think on it. I ate them the next morning for my hangover.

im pretty thrilled with every aspect of that story all the way down to the intial comment which asked when are young people going to try and do something original for a change.

The Daily Mail is the paper du choix for the sort of petty english middle class twat who thinks that 'wogs start at calais'. That first comment - wtf? 'Talk about following the pack'? If daily mail readers were capable of irony i would say he was being funny. But he isn't.

GT where in korea are you going?

ive still got to finalize things with the agency thats placing me...they made it sound like it could be in three or four different cities...basically they said they would know better for sure about anything around monday ish.

So im just supposed to kind of look around for now and see if theres anything in particular i can get a handle on.

My one buddy who did it ended up in Seoul which i would assume is probably as good of a candidate as any.

Think I'll try charging Heavy with being a canalist. Maybe he'll bite on that one.

Please link to the post where i professed my blinkered support for man-made waterways only. Everyone knows I like rivers and lakes and inlets and even streams as well. Your accusation is baseless, reprehensible and its intention was purely to goad. Well, sir, you have succeeded.

I think some variety of pistol duel at dawn is the best way to resolve this grave situation...

Thought: You're a BIG winner. learn as much of the lingo as pos before you go out i guess.

lol shockingly you dont actually have to know korean....

pluses...i get paid a pretty decent amount, get some practical teaching experience, pretty much get a free room, dont have to pay for the ticket over there and a week of paid vacation to tool around the far east.

minuses...will probably die from being unable to adapt to local diet after wasting away upon losing my staple of fast food and caffeinated beverages.

Hangul's fairly easy to learn--24 vowels/consonants. Learning to at least read it will literally take you far, especially if you're placed away from major cities.

Pluses: They have McDonalds there. And Burger King. (And even more if you visit a US Army camp.)

You're respected as a teacher.

Minuses: The burgers, fries, and drinks come in smaller portions.

You're disliked as an American on certain anniversaries.

My first thought as my plane descended near Seoul: That's a lot of golf courses.

My second: That's a lot of Patriot missile batteries. Oh sh*t. Where am I again?

But seriously, you'll have a great time. I spent almost 2 years there. PM me if you have any questions.

You'll probably want to learn this phrase.

당신은 무엇이든 비교적 싼 매춘부가 있는가? 또한 나는 약간 맥주를 필요로 한다.

i do feel like learning that phrase will spell the difference between acclimation and disaster.

To all who have been in korea...which as guis said is apparently a prereq for being in IK...plan on answering questions when i find out more about what the heck i might be doing.
