He would've had more time to prepare, he could've started on better backup plans, cause you know, hiding in a small hole didn't work out to well.

I know that the leader is seen by how well his country is doing, however it's not right.

Nope, but a lot of people see it that way, which is stupid.

Comparing Bush to Hitler.... Wow....
That is like comparing bananas with some fruit nobody has ever heard of.

EDIT : And if everyone in the world hates Bush, how in the world was he elected? I'm not saying I love him, but this is sad.

So i guess letting Pinochet escape justice wasn't a major error. And here i thought only Americans defended elected wankers. Silly me.

I an NOT shouting out a conspiracy theory here, but there were many complaints of the electronic voting machines malfunctioning in some key areas.

My opinion of "dubya"?

He's a bufoon. One of, if not the weakest mind to ever hold our highest office. He was elected simply because he was the son of a very good president and a republican.

I am sure he is a nice guy and lots of fun at the Texas BBQ. But when the leader of our nation can't open his mouth without looking like an idiot, we have chosen the wrong man.

No doubt his legacy will be that of his incredible Iraq mistake from it's shadowy beginnings to it's bloody end.

Former Texas Governor Anne Richards wrote:Poor George, he was born with a silver foot in his mouth.

Well
I think he is a great president you just dont see the good things in the media. thats whats corrupt the media all it shows is the bad side to everything.Another thing is if you look at the democrats they are trying to pull the dirtiest tricks to win over the republicans. Not to mention that one of there members that is running in Islamic. Look at the california fire. At the time they were trying to pass the childrens heath care bill, they coulnt get it passed they tried two times before to pass it. It didnt happen, California is a repbulican state so there senator and reprosenatives went back there to support there state. So Nancy a democrat decided to have a revote the THIRD TIME. They even sent letter saying not to vote while they were gone. what did they do, they voted. It passed and went to the supreme court were it was rejected

the problem with the children health care issue is that they changed it to where married couples could get it without a child a single parent could get it and not the child. And anyone under 23 is considered a child in the insurance world.More than 75% of the people getting were over 21(if i remeber right). Is this not messed up

If the "Commander in Chief" isn't ultimately responsible, than who is?

A fish rots from the head down.

Fine. Please tell us all the good things this President has done for us.

<yawn>. Is the evil media also pulling his strings to make these bad decisions?

TheTheft wrote:Another thing is if you look at the democrats they are trying to pull the dirtiest tricks to win over the republicans.

Please tell us about these "dirty tricks" that made George Bush become a bad president.

TheTheft wrote:Not to mention that one of there members that is running in Islamic.

Who are you talking about? Which Democrat "member" is "Islamic"? Even so, what does that have to do with anything except your prejudice? Besides...what does this have to do with George Bush being a great president in your view?

:? Try to have a complete thought. Please explain what wildfires and childrens health care bills in California have to do with George Bush being a wonderful president in your eyes?

No. What is messed up is that you say George W. Bush is a great president, then go off on a rant about California to prove your point.

Maybe you should read up on American Government.

The President may be Commander-in-Chief, however he can do nothing without the consent of Congress. Congress declares war, not the President.

The only thing he can do is send troops our for 30 days. Then he has to recall them unless he has Congress' approval.

well, in this, he kinda managed to slip through. by invading a country and destabilizing its gov. very quickly, pulling out immediately would leave a civil war AND lower our image even more somehow

Maybe you should open your eyes. Without King George, there would be no Iraq disaster. Yes he needed consent of Congress (of course) and he lobbied, begged and lied to them to get what he wanted. Revenge for "tryin' to kill my pa".

"Mission Accomplished"...remember? Saddam's gun on display in the oval office, etc. Were his father not a president, he would be a simpleton rancher. He is a yahoo member of the lucky sperm club.

Not in the same league as Nixon.
Nixon got caught-big whop. He didnt do anthing that Kennedy or LBJ hadnt done (well, maybe he took it a tad further!)
I'm a card carrying Liberal, but at least Nixon opened up China-in the long run, probably up there with when Georgie and Tommo said "Stuff this monarchy lark for a game of soldiers" in terms of all time great American decisions.
Bush jnr hasnt done anything remotely has as positive, and has messed up the international scene for a whole generation.
He's up there with Eisenhower as one of the worst presidents ever.
